United Billiards makes a decent pool table. They only use felt by Championship, one of the best brands in the business. They also give you 31 different options for its color which is incredible. All tables use 1″ thick slate which is great. I’m not thrilled that the only wood options are oak or maple, two of the cheapest woods there are. At least they are solid wood and not laminate. Not a lot of size options on their tables which is kind of bad. Some are 7 feet, some are 8, some are both and none are 9 feet long. That’s ok though, as most people just want a 7 foot table anyway. My biggest problem with United is no clear way to buy their table. There is a phone number to call which sucks because I hate dealing with sales people. Tables should be good enough to sell themselves, so post a price and a way to buy the darn thing online. I never bother with a billiard company who makes me call them, but that’s your own decision.
